One Bowl Blueberry Crisp

Ingredients
 
 

Blueberry filling

  • 2 lbs blueberry frozen
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 2 lemons juice only
  • ¼ cup water
  • 4 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

Topping

  • 2½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped (or chopped pecans)
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 °F.
  • To prepare the filling, mix all filling ingredients into one large bowl.

  • Transfer the filling mixture into a baking dish (ideally 9" x 13").
  • Mix all topping ingredients in the same large bowl used in step #2.

  • Spread the topping crumble over the blueberry filling in an uniform layer.

  • Bake for 55 min uncovered.
