Ingredients
 
 

  • 8 oz brown rice noodles
  • 1 romaine lettuce
  • ¼ red cabbage medium size
  • 2 carrots medium
  • ½ bell pepper red
  • ½ red onion

Facon (tempeh bacon)

  • 10 oz tempeh
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Lime-peanut butter sauce

  • 5 tbsp peanut butter unsweetened
  • 2 tbsp lime juice about three small limes
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions
 

Tempeh-bacon

  • Heat the oven at 380 °F (approx. 195 °C) on the convection bake setting.
  • Cut the tempeh in cubes of 1 cm length size.
  • Mix the soy sauce, garlic powder, maple syrup and liquid smoke in a container. Place the tempeh in the container, close and mix well. Let it sit for about 5 min to marinate.
  • Place the marinated tempeh on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 min.

Veggies and sauce

  • Cook the noodles according to the package instructions.

  • Dice all veggies and place them in separate bowls.
  • Prepare the sauce by mixing all sauce ingredients and add water gradually to reach the desired consistency.
