
Plant-based Pâté
Delicious walnut-based pâté
Equipment
- Food Processor
Ingredients
- 5¼ oz walnuts
- 4 tbsp cornstarch
- 5 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 lemon squeezed
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ⅛ tsp ground pepper optional
- 1½ cup water
Instructions
- Add all ingredients and ½ cup water to the food processor and mix for 3-4 minutes while slowly adding the rest of the water.
- Pour the mix into a pot and cook to boil. Boil for about 3-4 minutes until the mix thickens. Use medium-low heat and stir continuously. It will thicken even more once it cools.
- Pour the content in smaller containers and let it cool. Store in the refrigerator for a couple of hours before enjoying it.

Notes
Does not freeze well. Enjoy with a whole wheat bread and tomatoes.
So tasty that not even a seven-year old can’t resist. YUM!!!
