
Scrambled tofu
Vegan scrambled "eggs"
Ingredients
- 14 oz tofu firm
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp ground turmeric
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 3 tbsp almond milk unsweetened
Instructions
- Crumble the tofu into the pan and cook it for 5-7 min, until the water has completely evaporated.

- Add all spices and cook for 3-5 more minutes, mixing the tofu to obtain an homogeneous yellow composition.

- Add the plant-based milk and cook for about 30 more seconds.

- Serve immediately with toasted bread and cucumbers, tomatoes, or red bell pepper.
